This singular route placed between the Huelva's localities of "La Palma del Condado" and "Berrocal" stands out for being perfectly integrated to one of the most impressive natural and impressive places that can be contemplated. That is because the hiker or the cyclist have the impression of being in the planet Mars, effect to the intense red and brown tones that the "Tinto" river possesses like consequence of the weathering of ferric minerals that exists along its riverbed. This route runs through for the ancient one, today abandoned, railroad line between Huelva and the "Río Tinto's Mines". It is a route that is not easy to do, but worthwhile due to the beauty of its landscapes. It is important to do the route with the corresponding equipment (lanterns for the tunnels). Also, the hiker must extremes the precaution in the bridges due to its poor condition.
From La Palma del Condado address to Valverde del Camino, on the A-493 about 5 km long, we find the unusual and enigmatic Rio Tinto and fabulous Greenway that runs along its left bank.
