The Church or the Hermitage of "El Valle" is the most ancient building that remains in the locality of La Palma del Condado. Made in Mudejar style, it was constructed in the second half of the 15th century. In that moment starts the veneration to the "Virgen del Valle", who is exposed in its Major Chapel.
The building presents an Islamic QUBBA scheme, with a vault inside and an aspect of crenellated tower outside.
The rest of the temple follows the guideline of the Mudejar churches of Sevillian type, with three naves separated by pointed arches and covered with wood. This temple was saved from the fire during the Civil War, however, almost all the artworks got lost. In 1982, the Department of Culture declared the Church of "El Valle" as Historical Artistic Monument.
