This building located in the street "Santa Joaquina de Vedruna " was constructed at the 15th and 16th century. It was forming a part of a grid of stores property of the church all over the country that had as main function gather the "tithe" that was not any more than a tax on the agro-cattle products. The building was remodeled in the 18th century. In the second third of the 19th century this tax was abolished by the Government of Mendizábal, turning this building into the jail of the village. In 1995 it recovered to be used for municipal activities. Its exterior front is sober and without decoration, only stands out a blue tile in white and blue tones placed above the entry door. In its interior stands out the total pragmatism of its decoration looking at all times for the functionality as repository. In this building they give priority to the big spaces raised to protect of the dampness of the soil and of the impact of the light since it was harming seriously the conservation of the products.
