Original of the Roman era, the ancient water mills continued with its activity until the 17th and 18th century. For the use of the water's energy there were constructed small dikes of stone and brick that with the step of the centuries it was integrated into the landscape of the river. The "Molino Nuevo" stands out for its state of conservation since it was kept in functioning up to the 20th century.
